Zitat des Monats: Owen Briggs über HTML und CSS

Zum Abschluss des Jahres 2003 hier ein wunderbares Zitat über CSS und barrierefreies Webdesign:

"When people get into CSS they naturally learn about accessibility. That's because however little they thought about accessibility before, they find they can't figure out CSS until they go right back and read all those introductory chapters on HTML that they'd skipped."

"And then they find out what the W3C really means for you to be able to do, and they're hooked, because it's a pretty groovy bunch of concepts. The web isn't just a CRT paintbox."

Accessibility heisst auf deutsch "Barrierefreies Webdesign", CRT steht für Cathode Ray Tube (Monitor). Und das Zitat ist ein Ausschnitt aus Owen Briggs' Weblog "Inflight Correction".
